Saint Louis, Missouri
Blueberry Hill-The Loop
Hungry??
Food. Comfort for the soul. At least that's what I've heard. Everyone can appreciate an excellent meal. Saint Louis has a lot to offer. I consider myself a restaurant expert so I'm going to mention a few of my favorites and add a few links for you to discover favorites of your own. Maybe you have lived in the LOU all your life, new to the area, or just passing through the Gateway to the West; either way at some point your going to get hungry so check a few of these places out. Need a burger? A real homemade style burger head on over to Blueberry Hill, a St. Louis Landmark in The Loop. http://www.blueberryhill.com/ These burgers are to die for. Also for the vegetable lover they have fried zucchini sticks one of my favorites.
In the mood for a classy buffet sure to satisfy all appetites? Enjoy Lumiere Place, its all you can eat so go hungry.
In the mood for some good food at an even better price try The Babylon. http://www.thebabylonstl.com/
A date night favorite would be Top of the Riverfront, in the Millennium Hotel. http://www.millenniumhotels.com/millenniumstlouis/topoftheriverfront/index.html also there is Bristol's Seafood Grill for date night or just a swanky happy hour with the girls. http://www.bristolseafoodgrill.com/
There are several dining choices when it comes to dining in Saint Louis. There are several apps that I like to use when I'm in a new city or just exploring my own neck of the woods. If you have an android phone or an iPhone there is an app called places and you can hit the restaurant search, type in a restaurant name and be navigated to the door or just search the area you are in, as long as your GPS is on. Good food is hard to find ,when not prepared in the comfort of our own homes, but I can say that all the places I have listed here not only serve good food but provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The Delmar Loop area where Blueberry Hill is located is a sure tourist and Saint Louis native favorite. It is home to Chuck Berry and has been visited by the latest and greatest from all around. If you visit you wont be sorry. The Babylon is ideal for those that want to sample a little bit of this and a little bit of that, with their budget friendly a la Cart menu style... but eat up while your their prices are so reasonable you cant take anything to go.
Then you have Top of the Riverfront in the Millennium Hotel. If your looking for some romantic scenery this is the place to be. I celebrated my last birthday here with my significant other and it was quite the experience. Views over looking the city as you dine; but if you have a fear of heights or problems with motion sickness this might not be the best place for you.
Last but not least by any means Bristol's. I love everything about this place from the cuisine to the decor. For starters try their crab cakes. The food is always fresh and of exquisite taste. Bristol's is located in Creve Coeur Mo just west of Saint Louis Mo. So what is the best dining experience in Saint Louis Missouri? Plain and simply put, the one you create, your very own.
